Smart solutions for Bucharest's public transport

Thoreb’s collaboration with STB, the public transport operator in Bucharest, began in 2006 with the delivery of 1,000 new diesel buses and 100 trolleybuses – one of our largest and most impactful projects to date. Since then, the partnership has continuously evolved, with Thoreb updating and renewing solutions to meet new demands. Today, more than 1,500 modern vehicles – including trams, new generation trolleys, electric and hybrid buses – are equipped with Thoreb’s latest system, implemented in 2021. The result is a state-of-the-art, future-ready transport network that keeps pace with the city’s growth.
